What We Collect
When you use PINN Cloud, we collect the following categories of information:
-
Account Information — email address, name, and any profile information
you provide when registering for the Service.
-
Usage Analytics — pages viewed, features used, session duration,
click patterns, and interaction events. This data is aggregated and used to improve
the Service.
-
Payment Information — billing details are collected and processed
exclusively by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. We store only a tokenized
reference and the last four digits of your payment method; we never have access to
your raw card numbers.
-
Technical Data — IP address, browser type, device identifiers,
and operating system, collected automatically when you access the Service.
-
Communications — any messages you send to our support team or
through in-app feedback forms.
How We Use Data
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
-
Service Delivery — to operate, maintain, and provide you with the
features and functionality of PINN Cloud.
-
Improvement & Research — to understand how users interact with
the Service, identify bugs, and develop new features. Analytics data is processed
in aggregated or pseudonymised form where possible.
-
Transactional Email — to send receipts, subscription notices,
security alerts, and other account-related communications that are necessary to
maintain your relationship with us.
-
Customer Support — to respond to your inquiries and resolve
issues you report.
-
Legal Compliance — to comply with applicable laws, regulations,
legal processes, or enforceable government requests.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for
automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects
without human review.
Third Parties
We share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating
the Service. These parties are contractually bound to use your data only as directed
by us and in accordance with applicable law.
-
Stripe — payment processing. Stripe processes all billing
transactions; their privacy practices are governed by the
Stripe Privacy Policy.
-
Firebase (Google) — authentication and real-time database
services. Data processed by Firebase is governed by the
Firebase Privacy and Security documentation.
-
Analytics Provider — we use an analytics service to collect
aggregated usage statistics. No personally identifiable information is shared with
our analytics provider beyond what is technically necessary (e.g., IP address,
which may be anonymised at collection).
We may also disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid
legal process.
Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active. After you
close your account or your subscription is terminated, we retain your data for an
additional 30 days to allow for account recovery or dispute resolution, after which
it is deleted from our active systems.
Certain data may be retained in anonymised or aggregated form indefinitely for
analytical and product-improvement purposes. Backup copies may persist for up to
90 days following deletion from active systems.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your
personal data:
-
Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
-
Deletion — request that we delete your personal data, subject to
legal retention obligations.
-
Export / Portability — receive your personal data in a structured,
machine-readable format.
-
Correction — request that inaccurate personal data be corrected.
-
Opt-Out — opt out of non-essential communications (e.g., marketing
emails) at any time via the unsubscribe link in those emails or your account settings.
-

data in certain circumstances.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at

We will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We use two categories of cookies:
-
Session Cookies — strictly necessary cookies that maintain your
authenticated session and enable core functionality. These cookies expire when you
close your browser or log out.
-
Analytics Cookies (Optional) — cookies used to understand how
visitors interact with the Service. These are only set with your consent. You may
decline analytics cookies via the cookie banner presented on your first visit, or
by adjusting your browser settings at any time.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling session cookies may
prevent you from using certain features of the Service.
Security
We take the security of your data seriously and implement the following measures:
- All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using
TLS (Transport Layer Security).
- Data stored at rest is encrypted using industry-standard encryption algorithms.
- Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe; we do not store or have access
to raw card numbers, CVV codes, or full account numbers at any point.
- Access to production systems and user data is restricted to authorised personnel
on a need-to-know basis.
- We perform regular security reviews and vulnerability assessments.
No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100%
secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal
data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

The Service is not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly
collect personal data from children under 16. If you become aware that a child under
16 has provided us with personal data without parental consent, please contact us at
